Exodar OTS Rules
Please read the rules carefully. Violating them may result in temporary or permanent account penalties depending on the severity and your previous record.
1. Names
- Names which contain insulting, racist, extremely right-wing, sexist or otherwise offensive language.
- Names containing parts of sentences, nonsensical combinations of letters or invalid formatting.
- Names that clearly do not describe a person, names of real life celebrities or countries, fake lookalike names of other players, or names implying official staff positions.
2. Cheating
- Exploiting obvious game bugs, for example item duplication. Any discovered bug should be reported immediately.
- Intentionally abusing gameplay weaknesses, such as blocking other players by arranging objects or characters.
- Using macros or tools that automatically perform or repeat actions without player interaction.
- Manipulating the client or using additional software to play the game.
- Trying to steal account data from other players.
- Playing on more than one account at the same time.
- Offering or accepting account data from other players.
3. Gamemasters
- Threatening a gamemaster because of actions taken in that role.
- Pretending to be a gamemaster or claiming influence over a gamemaster's decisions.
- Intentionally giving false or misleading information during investigations or submitting false reports.
4. Player Killing
- Excessive killing of characters without a skull on non-PvP-enforced worlds. Killing marked characters is not a reason for a banishment.
A violation of the rules may lead to temporary banishment of characters and accounts. In severe cases, character skills, attributes and belongings may be modified, and accounts may be permanently removed without compensation.
The sanction depends on the seriousness of the violation and the player's previous record. These rules may be changed at any time, and all changes will be announced on the official website.
